Choppies Group has dismissed 30 more employees, who embarked on a protest two months ago.
Choppies Chief Executive Officer, Ramachandran Ottapathu said the employees’ contracts were not renewed following the recent strike workers had gone on, protesting their low salaries.
Ottapathu said the dismissed employees had breached their contracts.
The employees had gone on strike early this year demanding a pay rise and better working conditions.
